- Plan and prioritize account team deliverables, effectively delegating responsibilities and executing tasks according to each client’s brief as well as the demands of the overall agency client portfolio
- Build strong client relationships and oversee multiple campaigns for different clients simultaneously
- Plan strategy meetings, brainstorming sessions, media interviews, events and research studies
- Draft content such as press releases, briefing documents, fact sheets, executive biographies, brochures, trend reports and social media posts
- Guide clients in the development of strategic plans, providing insights and proactive recommendations
- Cultivate a deep pool of media contacts to mine insights and create client opportunities
- Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment by mentoring the account team
- Support new business development, including the preparation of proposals and generating new ideas
- Ensure quality control by reviewing agency products including creative work, key client communications, schedules, and creative strategies
Skills & Values
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, PR, marketing or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a hybrid communications practice with specialization in PR or marketing, in-house or in an agency
- Proven track record of account management, campaign strategy, social media and media planning
- Solid experience in managing cross-functional teams and possess excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
- Strong media relations across different sectors
- Creative problem solver with a keen attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
