Red Bull - Giving the Activation Arm Wings
Our partnership with Red Bull has allowed us to fully utilize our activation and promotion chops as an experiential marketing agency by promoting events, activating fan bases and creating truly interactive experiences. When tasked with introducing a new Red Bull flavor, we created our “Wheels of Summer” campaign by partnering with a local ice cream company and tricking out an old-school Ford Econoline van. This retro mobile sampling experience allowed consumers to experience Red Bull in a summery, new way. (Red Bull ice cream? Yes, please!) We reached over 40,000 consumers and handed out 4,000 new flavor samples.
M&T Bank - Financial Services Digital Website Experiences
M&T Bank is a top-25 bank headquartered in Buffalo, NY, with over 760 branches. They partnered with Yalo to create more personal website experiences for customers and online shoppers. Yalo’s financial services marketing team began by designing a collection of personalized homepage experiences for distinct audience segments. Our UX solution needed to delight customers on the front end but also be scalable on the back end so it could be leveraged by other business units across M&T. Interaction designs were created for logins, warnings, search, forms and modals. Transition and interaction animations were developed to create a more delightful experience that also wove in the new M&T voice and feel. The new website is approachable, engaging and accurately reflects the M&T brand and core values. Content is personal for each unique user, providing clear direction to easily navigate the site. Users can quickly access the information they need, click CTAs to complete a transaction, and connect with the right M&T person to help with next steps. Yalo’s Financial Services Marketing team continues to work with M&T’s Retail, Small Business, and Commercial teams across the company to map buyer journeys – leveraging existing modules to quickly capture and share marketing messages.
Struxure - Branding for the Future
Offering high-end, luxury outdoor products to consumers, Struxure was looking to elevate their presence in the marketplace. Yalo was asked to conceptualize and execute their future brand with a focus on scalability to complement Struxure’s expanded offerings. Yalo delivered a clean, modern, tech-focused brand. We began with naming exercises to explore new options that would accurately reflect where the brand was headed. Then we continued the process with brand exploration and refinement. The new brand was carried across all Struxure collateral, in national ads in high-end home and shelter publications, and in an immersive online experience that showcased product features and functionality. Yalo brought a creative sophistication to a luxury pergola product that transforms outdoor spaces. By focusing on messaging while building brand assets, website architecture and print ads, Yalo enabled Struxure to reach residential and commercial audiences and illustrate all the possibilities Struxure has to offer. Yalo’s speed to rebrand delivered a fast flip for new name, new logo, brand guidelines and consistent rollout of assets.
Zaxby's - Virtual Reality for a Tasty Tour
Zaxby’s redesigned a handful of flagship stores and wanted people to come check them out. But how do you show off an immovable object to thousands of people who aren’t coming to you? Well, the way we see it, you build a giant, mobile replica of the newly designed stores, fill it with an unreal Virtual Reality experience that allows folks to paint their chicken mascot with delicious Zaxby’s sauce—then schlep the experience around to 13 bigtime college football events on 13 bigtime college football campuses. Are there other ways? Sure. Are there better ways? Probably not. If you can taste what Zaxby’s is cooking, thank our experiential marketing chops and virtual events prowess. A lot of folks had fun and got to see the new face of Zaxby’s up close and personal, and we enjoyed tasty chicken fingers and mobile southern hospitality.
Digital Yalo, LLC migrated 60 websites from a proprietary CMS to WordPress, ensuring the sites were SEO-friendly, complied with ADA regulations, and had a modern look and feel. Now they manage the platforms.
