Jul 27, 2021Last year, our nonprofit organization Miracles for Kids was faced with the challenge of implementing our signature Annual Night of Miracles Gala in the midst of a pandemic; however thanks to Kimberly Krouse, Todd Cooper, and their amazing team at TOAST – we held a first-ever hybrid virtual/live format fundraiser that exceeded all expectations!
From event design to set up and production, the TOAST team ensured everything was above and beyond what we envisioned. They were willing to accommodate our needs and adjust to what began as one large venue to a central event with eight satellite locations all live streamed to create a sense of togetherness. Through the entire process, TOAST held the utmost professionalism. Their team worked with us to create videos and presentations that displayed in high-definition on all screens, ensured the live stream connection was strong throughout the night to successfully hold our live auction, handled all details with each location, and ensured the event ran smoothly from beginning to end.
In a year where our 300+ families needed us more than ever, we were able to bring together eight intimate, privately hosted dining experiences across city, county, and country borders to connect via live stream. As a result, the innovative hybrid format helped us raise a record breaking amount to meet the historic level of need in the face of the pandemic. It would not have been possible without TOAST’s responsiveness, flexibility, support, and execution.

Jun 18, 2021In the early 2010s I had the opportunity to take the lead on developing a new slate of event platforms for the iconic Rolling Stone brand. The leadership team was open to a new vision of how we could elevate and reach a next level presence for Rolling Stone at specific high-profile event environments, including music festivals, award shows and the Super Bowl. In taking this on I knew the work of creating world-class events would mean enlisting a production team driven by a passion and dedication to find that next level. To pull this off I would need a TOAST event.
I had come to know the team well when they delivered on elevating the Rolling Stone 40th Anniversary to spectacle status in Las Vegas during the VMAs. So, when Rolling Stone came to play at Super Bowl this was THE TEAM to not only elevate but also amplify the brand. From a multi-talent weekend bash in Indianapolis with Bacardi and VW to the top ticket in New Orleans (even Paul McCartney was looking for access) for Bud Light, to being back in the saddle with Steven Tyler along with Charlie XCX, among others, in Arizona—TOAST delivered time and again, with each year at a next level we did not even know existed.
TOAST created events befitting of the Rolling Stone name—rocking attendees and clients in the moment and rolling everyone with experiences that last a lifetime. To this day, I carry a great pride in those events as well as a profound, unending appreciation for the rock solid support and personal connection they provided along the way.
Events have an unknown element to them. There are many directions they can take and there is always a next level to strive for. With a TOAST event, a vision is realized, an elevation is reached and a next level is achieved.
