BEING A CREATIVE DIRECTOR AT DEFINITION 6
The Creative Director will be responsible for leading, supporting, overseeing, and delivering client focused projects across our Atlanta and New York offices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for elevating and improving the quality of creative output by leveraging different team’s capabilities. We are looking for a true creative talent who will be able to partner with senior leadership to build, inspire and guide our agency toward transformational work.
Execute and deliver for all design stages from concept to final hand-off
Review creative briefs and work to ensure the correct level of aspiration and accountability
Drive the work with a holistic vision, looking to drive efficiency by understanding the “big picture” and connecting separate tasks as needed.
Uphold quality standards of all creative output no matter the discipline
Partner with account, strategy, content and development teams to solve client problems and concept new opportunities
Cultivate and inspire creativity within the department and the agency
Improve the Creative department’s understanding of digital aesthetics, perspectives and solutions through guidance and training
Resource and manage the day-to-day processes and responsibilities assigned to the creative team
Develop creatives as thinkers and innovators in the digital space
Evolve the creative group to anticipate changing client needs and industry trends
Lead, nurture and support creative community-building efforts internally and externally
Assist the agency in landing new business through bold, innovative work and effective client presentations
Lead and assist Account Directors and Sales Managers in developing opportunities within existing accounts through strategic leadership and the delivery of exceptional projects
Actively engage in increasing the profile of Definition 6 through public speaking, judging, teaching, or other industry activities
MUST-HAVE (Sort of):
8+ years’ experience motivating and managing creative teams in developing, communicating, and selling concepts to clients
Hands-on ability to conceptualize, design and launch digital and traditional assets
Deep understanding of digital and brand-building, with an affinity for working closely with strategy, analytics and client teams to develop great work
Leadership abilities that foster learning and excellence among team members
Tech savvy with knowledge of best practices in digital UX principles that emphasize personalization and intelligent profiling in digital environments
Possess a strong creative portfolio with expertise in developing integrated offline and digital creative
Expert at translating consumer insights into creative strategies and breakthrough concepts that drive business results
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Advanced design capabilities
Effective and creative brainstorming, ideation, and other problem-solving skills
Clear, compelling, and charismatic presentation and storytelling skills
